The Dirty Dash is Coming & I’m Taking It On! Win a FREE Entry!

You’ve probably seen some pretty amazing races that aren’t just basic 5Ks.  They have obstacles and mud and more that make these races just a little more fun.  I was lucky to hear about The Dirty Dash.  This race is happening August 11 in Colorado Springs!

According to their website:  This race that puts all other races to shame.  The Dirty Dash is a mud run obstacle course where a military boot camp meets your inner five-year-old’s fantasy and subsequently converts boy to man and then man to swine.

You’ll need endurance to trudge up mountains of sludge, courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles, a complete lack of shame to wallow in pits of mud and a smile to show through at the end!

So let this mud run obstacle course become your new guilty pleasure. Go solo or with some of your dirtiest, filthiest, & uncouth friends.  Either way, you’ll be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I am a Dirty Dasher!”… and then proceed to clean yourself off.

I was super psyched about this race, but then they contacted me and they are giving me two entries to give away! My friend Liz and I are going to conquer this course together and we want to see you there! If you want a FREE entry, just Tweet about this giveaway and leave me a comment letting me know you did. I’ll be announcing the winners on July 9.  You have plenty of time to get a team together and get ready for a day of dirty fun!

  1. I just did the Dirty Dash Spokane Washington june 16th 2012.. What a blast! My suggestions .. where capri leggins style pants bc my knees took a beating… also if you plan to take a camera take one that you can put around your neck.. I lost mine ;( it was ok just a cheap disposable but still. Also if I was going to do it again and I had family that were going to be spectators i would leave a bag of flip flops or something to change shoes at least into .. wearing muddy shoes via buss back to our car was gross.. to say the least! I plan to do the one in August 4th in Tacoma. Call me crazy but I have done marathons and I would rather get muddy than run another one of those !

    • Thanks for the tips, I can definitely use them. I’m super excited about this race, it sounds like a lot of fun.
